Lylia Rose Coffman, 99, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Friday, October 23, 2015.
She was born December 24, 1915 in Little Elm, Texas to Sam and Pauline Rose. Lylia was a resident of Port Arthur for 76 years and taught school in Port Arthur and Port Neches Groves for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jess Thomas Coffman who died in 1998 at the age of 92; and her son, Jim Coffman who died in 1978.
Survivors include her three sons, Matt Coffman and his wife Linda of Orlando, FL, Jack Coffman and his wife Cathy of Oklahoma City, Ok, Doug Coffman of Beaumont, TX; one granddaughter, Stacey Rosen and her husband Lou of Orlando, FL.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Deacon Dale LeBlanc officiating.
A reception will follow the service at the Holiday Inn Park Central in Port Arthur.
