Bonita Jo “Tootie” Fischer, 60, of Port Neches, TX passed away October 3, 2015 at her residence.  She was born January 12, 1955, Port Arthur, TX to the late George Fischer, Sr. and Bonnie Goodwin Fischer.
She was an avid PN-G Indians fan and loved her Astros and Cowboys, as well.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Fischer of Nederland; sister, Martha “Murf” LaLonde of Nederland; 2 nieces and 1 nephew; numerous great- nieces and nephews.  Bonita was preceded in death by her brother George “Butch” Fischer, Jr.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, October 9, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10 a.m., also at Melancon’s Funeral Home.  Rev. John Morgan officiating.  Interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
