Hulan Vera McLeod, 98, of Kirbyville, Texas passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 in Beaumont, Texas.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Magnolia Springs at 1:00 p.m.  with interment to follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery.  The family will greet friends on Monday evening September 14, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Shultz Funeral Home.
A native of Kilgore, Texas, she was a resident of Port Arthur, Texas until moving to Magnolia Springs in 1982.  She was an employee of The City of Port Arthur in the Water Department from 1958 – 1982 and after retirement she volunteered with the Tri-Community Women’s Auxillary.  She is survived by her daughters Carolyn LeDoux of Jasper, Texas, Peggy Ibrahim of Bedford, Texas, and Pam & husband Jim Young of Graford, Texas; sisters Mary Lavonne Russell of Palestine, Texas, Linda Kitchens of Jasper, Texas, & Janelle Johnson of Jasper, Texas; grandchildren Rene’, Becky, Dana, Jason, Connie & husband Tony, Blaine & wife Jib, Lauren & husband Lance, Alden & husband Jeff; as well as great grandchildren Katherine, Landrie, Madison, Tanner, Jake, & Jimmy.
