Francis Jean Rees, 87, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, Texas. She was born on December 10, 1927 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Charles Franklin Davis and Vera Francis Robinson. She worked in the Hotel Industry as an operations clerk. Francis loved her family very dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
Francis is survived by her sons, Charlie Rees of Groves, Harry Rees and his wife, Ruby of Port Neches, Martin Rees of Port Neches, Raymond Rees and his wife, Donna of Vidor, 9 grandchildren; and numerous great – grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
