Funeral services for Rene Joseph Cormier, 91, of Lumberton will be 2:00 pm Monday August 31, 2015 at Farmer funeral Home with interment to follow at RS Farmer Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday August 30, 2015 at the funeral home.

Mr. Cormier passed away August 29, 2015 at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Orange he spent many years there before moving to Lumberton in the early 1980s.  He was a retired self employed salesman and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lumberton.

Mr. Cormier is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ida Marie Crockman Cormier.

Survivors include his wife Lena Rudd Cormier of Lumberton; son Ronnie Cormier of Baytown and wife Patricia of DeRidder; daughter Theresa Bridges and husband Tommy of Lumberton; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Mr. Cormier will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
