Norma Faye Greene Holbrook, 86, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, August 25, 2015 at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital in Nederland.

She was born on October 9, 1928 to Elsie Evans Greene and John Greene in Port Arthur, Texas. Norma graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1947 and went to Port Arthur Business College. She was a longtime resident of the Port Arthur/Groves area except for in 1985 she and her husband, George moved to Vinton, Louisiana and remained there until his death in 2014. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her son, John Holbrook of Port Arthur, her sister, Nelda Erwin of Nederland, her niece, Dana Bryant and her husband, Lee of Bridge City, her nephew, John Erwin and his wife, Tracey of Houston, great niece, Emily Erwin and two great nephews, Sam Erwin and Logan Bryant.

Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2015 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Sundayfrom 1:00 PM till service time at Clayton Thompson. Private Burial of her cremains will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements for cremation are entrusted to Clayton Thompson.
