Brenda Marie Fontnette Booker, 64, of Kirbyville, TX, was called to eternal rest on August 19, 2015. She was born in Loreauville, LA and was a resident of Port Arthur for 56 years.
She completed her early sacraments at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, was a former member of St. James Parish and a 1968 graduate of Lincoln High School.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Champ Fontnette.
To cherish her memory, she leaves her devoted husband of 44 years, Chester Booker Sr. of Kirbyville, TX, her father, Robert Fontnette Sr. of Port Arthur, TX, her children, Tonia (Eric) Johnson of Dickinson, TX, Chester Booker Jr. of Kirbyville, TX and a stepson, Anthony (Maryam) Bonton of San Diego, CA, grandchildren Kameron and Chase of Dickinson, TX and Alexis, Anthony Jr. and Sean of San Diego, CA, four brothers, Robert (Renee) Fontnette Jr. of Compton, CA, Ronald (Joann) Fontnette Sr. of St. Martinville, LA, Donald Fontnette Sr. of Port Arthur, TX and Kevin Fontnette of Lewiston, ME,  one sister, Rachel (Marcus Sr.) Jacquet of Port Arthur, TX, sisters-in-law, Lorann Fontnette of Port Arthur, TX, Mabel Berrott and Opal Flanagan of Beaumont, TX and Alean Booker of Kirbyville, TX, brothers-in-law, LeeJames (Barbara) Booker, Sam (Letha) Booker, Odis Jr. (Lois) Booker, LeRoy Booker and Alvin Booker all of Kirbyville, TX, Kirk (Glenda) Booker of Orange, TX and Floyd (Clem) Booker of Houston, TX, life-long friend Deborah Powell of Lewiston, ME and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015, 11:00am at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, 1901 S Margaret Ave. in Kirbyville, TX with visitation at 9:00am. Interment will follow at Magnolia Springs Community Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Coleman’s Mortuary, 1559 N Fletcher in Jasper, TX 75951.
