Beve Lovell, 92, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 7, 1923 in Port Arthur, Texas to Charles and Maude Landry Root.
Beve was a lifelong area resident and member of Val Verde Baptist Church.
She retired from the U. S. Postal Service as a postal clerk after 34 years of service.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday August 28, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Nicholas Dignan officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Beve was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lovell, son, Jimmie “Buddy” Lovell, granddaughter, Theresa Tankersley, grandson, Shawn Stoffer, and great grandson, Ricky Reed.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly DeShazo of Groves, TX., sister, Merle Broyles of Battleground, WA., two grandchildren, Tina Landry and husband, Dale and Timothy Stoffer and wife, Heather, great grandchildren, Randy, Brandon, Timothy Jr., Harley, Eric, Tinae, Christopher, and Lillie and seven great great grandchildren.
