Celina Frederick Bordelon, 98, of Port Arthur passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.
She was born in Plaucheville, Louisiana on April 16, 1917 to Mary Alice Landreneau Frederick and William Frederick. Celina has been a resident of the area since 1930. She was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Percy P. Bordelon and her children, Mary A. Arnold and Louis Bryan Granger.
Celina is survived by her daughter, Theresa Lynn Loyd of Katy, Texas, her eleven grandchildren, Stephen Arnold (Sandra), Connie Ruppart (Andy), Michelle Arnold, Mark Carter (Diana), Joe Johnson (Tammy), Relene Johnson, Debra Arnold, Debra Aud (Mark), Ronald Loyd (Renee), Rhonda Van Alstine (Eric) and Curtis Paul Benoit, 28 great grandchildren, 5 great- great grandchildren with one on the way.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 1:00 PM till service time at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson with Rick Walker, officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
