Robert Hutchinson, 79, passed away peacefully at his home in Bryan, TX, on July 2nd, surrounded by family. A graduate of Penn State University, he was a letterman of the Nittany Lion basketball team. He came to Texas through his job with Gulf/Chevron, for whom he worked 27 years. A member of the First Baptist Church of Nederland, Robert lived and served in the Golden Triangle community for 37 years before his recent move to Bryan. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara, children Kristine, Richard, Jennifer, Nathan and Julie and 10 loving grandchildren.
