A 51-year-old Port Arthur man arrested for two counts of burglary of a building and may be linked to a third burglary that all occurred at various businesses around 25th Street and Memorial Boulevard early Saturday morning.
Port Arthur Police Department dispatch received a cal of a suspicious person leaving a barber shop in the 2900 block of 25th Street at about 7:05 a.m. July 18, according to a press relase from PAPD.
Officers found a man matching the description several blocks away and also discovered the barber shop had been burglarized and evidence in the man’s possession led them to believe he had committed a burglary at the barber shop.
Police then learned Domino’s  Pizza and a health clinic in the area had also been burglarized just prior to the barber shop.
Officers linked the detained man to Domino’s Pizza burglary and as well as a suspect in the health clinic burglary as well.
All of the burglaries took place between midnight and 7 a.m. July 18.
The suspect was arrested for burglary of a building for the barber shop and Domino’s. Officers are working to link him to the health clinic burglary.
“We would like to thank the citizen that made this report to PAPD,” Sgt. J. Lloyd said in the press release.
