Quarmi De’Shawn Garlington, Sr. passed away on July 8, 2015 at Southeast Texas Medical Center in Port Arthur, TX. He was born October 10, 1987 to Scheherazade Garlington and also reared by Laura Zeno.
Quarmi grew up in Port Arthur, Texas. He attended Memorial High School and was a member of Class of 2006.
He was survived by his spouse of 6 years Renita Ridley; his children, Ja’Lyn,  Quarmariyae, Ta’Zariah, Quarmarre’, Noah,  Aa’Quarmia, Quarma, Quarmi Jr., and
Quran; 2 brothers, Quarmaine Garlington Sr. and Harry Wiltz V; one sister, Quarnequa Garlington; 3 unlces, Joseph Garlington, Sr., Kalon Garlington and Dalton Antoine, Jr.; one  special “brudha”, Sherman Auzenne, Jr.; one sister-in-law Jaleesa McClain; one  step-brother, Jer’Cory Wells of Port Arthur, Texas, and a host of uncles, aunts,  nieces, nephews, cousins  and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, 12 noon at First
Sixth  Street  Baptist Church. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. with interment following  at Live Oak Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
