Lucille C. Hance, 90, of Port Arthur passed away July 6, 2015 at home.  She was born in Allen Parish, Louisiana on February 2, 1925 to Charles and Callie Chaney.  She moved to Port Arthur at age 18.  She worked for Dr. Sorenson for 37 years as nurse and lab technician before retiring in 1981 to care for her husband, J.D. Hance.
She was preceded in death by parents, siblings, husband and son, C. L. Hance.  She is survived by daughter-in-law, Linda Hance, son-in-law Derick and daughter, Cindy Hance Drummond.  She also leaves behind grandchildren, Matthew Drummond, Sarah Drummond Mack and her husband Daniel Mack.
A Christian Vigil and Rosary will be recited Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at St. Peters Catholic Church in Groves. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
