Dolores Ann Jackson stepped into eternity on Wednesday, June 24, 2015. A native of Port Arthur, Texas, Dolores was born August 22, 1934 to the union of Mary Theresa Pierre and Joseph Whitney Pierre Sr. of Moreauville, Louisiana. She was a native of Port Arthur for over 60 years and was a housekeeper. She was a former member of the St. Mary’s Court 182 Lady Auxiliaries of Port Arthur, Texas and a member of St. James Catholic Church
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Pierre, Husband of 26 years Mr. Willis Jackson, brother Joseph Pierre Jr. and nephew Michael Ray Pierre.
She leaves to celebrate her life her daughter Dana Kimble (Donald); sister Mary Eleanor Smith of Port Arthur, 2 brothers Leonard Paul Pierce of Houston, Tx and James Stanley Pierre (Derry Ann) of Alexandria, La. 1 granddaughter, Cle D. Kimble and a special granddaughter Rynish Jones and 1 great grandson Dillon L. Smith; a host of nieces and nephews; special devoted friends Eunice Bonton, Bennie Butler and Letta Moore.
A visitation is scheduled from 9 A.M. until 10:45 A.M, Friday July 3, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church. Funeral services will follow immediately at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Kyle Hill Cemetery in Roganville, Texas under the direction of Hannah Funeral Home.
