Andrea “Andy” Alejo Babington, 66, of Port Arthur passed away June 16, 2015 at Christus St. Mary Hospital.
Andy worked as an exexcutive assistant at Spindletop MHMR for over 40 years.
She was also a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society.
She is survived by her daughter, Juliana Babington of Port Arthur, TX., her sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Robert “Rock” Robbins of Port Arthur, TX., their daughters, Dr. Annie Robbins of San Marcos, TX., and Raechal Robbins of Katy, TX. She also has her goddaughters, Zoey and Haley Jackson and her many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, June 19, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with Rev. T. R. Blanco, serving as celebrant. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Her family would like to thank the amazing staff at St. Mary’s CICU for going above and beyond the call of duty to bring her peace and comfort. We would also like to thank her work family at Spindletop MHMR for all their love and support these last 40 years.
