Funeral services for Marie Girouard Walther, 88, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Livingston, Texas with Father Clifton Labee, S.V.D. officiating. Interment will take place in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Groves, Texas at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Walther was born December 27, 1926 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents, Andrew Neville Girouard and Evelyn (Palombo) Girouard, and passed away June 8, 2015 in Spring, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joe Girouard and sister; Ruth Boyd.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton P. Walther of Livingston, Texas; daughters, Elizabeth Walther Cunningham of Houston, Texas, Wendy Walther Meigs of Houston, Texas; son, Craig Andrew Walther of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Kara, Kori, Kristy, Jimmy, Jason, Leslie, and Andrew; great- grandchildren, Lukas, Haven, Detta, Soren, Daniel, Mikhail, Nikolai, Jaden, Devon; sister, Hazel Swice of Hemphill, Texas; brother-in-law, Dalton Boyd of Lufkin, Texas; along with numerous other family and friends.
