Jeannette Rose Richard, 84, of Port Arthur, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Mrs. Richard was very active with the diocese. Her most important job was the love and care of her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Sleepy” Richard; sister, Isabelle Breaux; brothers-in-law, Russell Breaux, Sr. and Bucky Bilbo.
Survived by her son, Kenneth “Tokey” Richard and wife Pat; daughters, Roxanne Richard and boyfriend Ralph Ponder, Annette Courville and husband Bryan; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Susie Ann “Sam” Bilbo; and very special nephew, Steven “T-Wayne” Breaux.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 5, 2015 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00pm. The Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 2049 Taft Ave, Groves, TX 77619. Rite of Committal to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
