James Darrell McGlory, 59, of Port Arthur, TX was called to glory on May 25, 2015.
James was a very humble person, and so easy to please.  You couldn’t help but love him.  He never had a bad thing to say and he would tell you in a minute, he was a Christian.  James attended MHMR Spindletop Center where he enjoyed being with his friends.  James loved doing arts & crafts, building things, and listening to gospel music.  James also enjoy talking to his long-time friend Kerri Theall and his family.
Visitation will be at Solid Rock Baptist Church, 1337 East 5th Street, Port Arthur, Texas on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 9:00am.  Funeral services will be at 11:00am. Burial service will be immediately following at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, TX 77619.
James is survived by his brother Samuel McGlory Jr., two sisters, Carolyn Trahan and Cecillia Davis (Joe); one uncle, Raymond Alexandra, and two aunts, Blossom Lavallais, and Vasti Freeman; two nieces, five nephews; 4 great nieces, 3 great nephews, a great-great nephew, and numerous relatives and friends.  James is preceded in death by his mother, Luetta McGlory, his father Samuel McGlory, Sr., his grandmothers and grandfather, aunts, and uncles.
