Groves Police calls, May 6 through May 12

Groves Police responded to the following calls from May 6 through May 12

Wednesday, May 6
• A Kindle Fire valued at $200, hunting knife with sheath valued at $150, and a gold ring, unknown value, were stolen from a residence in the 3700 block of West Parkway.
• A blue and silver lock box containing $150 cash, a Sakroot wallet valued at $45 containing debit cards, and miscellaneous ID cards, a mini IPad valued at $400 were stolen from a church in the 5300 block of Twin City Highway.

Thursday, May 7
• A 31-year-old person was arrested for outstanding Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office warrants in the 4900 block of Grant.
• A pair of sunglasses valued at $20 were stolen from a vehicle in the 2700 block of Oleander.

Friday, May 8
• Army uniforms and equipment and a notebook, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen from a vehicle in the 3800 block of Lincoln.
• A 22-year-old male was issued a criminal trespass warning in the 3700 block of West Parkway after a call of an unwanted person.
• A person reported the theft of $300 cash from a misplaced wallet in a local business in the 2600 block of Main Avenue.
• A 22-year-old male was arrested for criminal trespass after a disturbance call in the 3700 block of West Parkway.
• Threat by phone was reported in the 7000 block of Oakdale.

Saturday, May 9
• A gold Masonic ring, a nugget ring with diamonds, a green emerald ring and a ladies wedding set, all valued at more than $9,000, were stolen from the 4500 block of Gulf Avenue.
• A 17-year-old male was arrested for possession of marijuana after a call of a suspicious person in the 6100 of 39th Street.
• A disturbance was reported in the 3800 block of Charles.

Sunday, May 10
• Keys , a wallet with several forms of ID, and a Verizon cell phone all valued at more than $300 were stolen during a robbery in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

Monday, May 11
• An iPad and HP computer were stolen from an apartment in the 5500 block of West Washington.
• A 35-year-old female was arrested on outstanding Groves warrants in the 5100 block of 34th Street.
• A Springfield Armory XD .40 caliber hand gun and a PlayStation 3 gaming console were stolen from a house in the 6000 block of Monroe.
• A criminal trespass warning notice was issued in the 4200 block of Cleveland.
• Two persons were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 6400 block of 32nd Street.
A 37 year old male was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and outstanding warrants in the 5400 block of Beaumont.
• A Kimber .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun was stolen from a vehicle in the 4200 block of Kelly Lane.

Tuesday, May 12
• A 20-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 4200 block of Main.
