JoAnn Drummond Hill 80, of Port Neches died Saturday January 5, 2013 after a brief illness.

   She was born September 1, 1932 in Port Arthur, Texas to Robert Jewell Drummond, Sr. and Hattie Laughlin Drummond. JoAnn was a 1951 Graduate of Port Arthur’s Thomas Jefferson High School. She also attended Port Arthur Business College for two years. She worked at Texas U.S. Chemical and Retail Merchants.

   She was preceded in death by her husband LaRoche Henry Hill, brothers Harold Drummond and Vernon Drummond.

   She is survived by her sons Ricky Hill and wife Lisa, Mark Hill and wife Gwen and Joey Hill and wife Stacey all of Port Neches. She is also Survived by her brother Robert Jewell “R.J.” Drummond, Jr. and wife Myrtle of Port Arthur, sister Aline Bourgeois and husband Paul also of Port Arthur and six grandchildren Matthew Hill, Melissa Hill-Johnson, Brian Hill, Brent Hill, Alex Hill and Evie Hill all of Port Neches.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches on Wednesday January 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. Bennie Patillo as celebrant under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home in Port Neches from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary being recited at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday January 8, 2013.
