Paula Nelligan, 55, of Port Arthur passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her home.  She was born in Port Arthur on June 27, 1957 to Frank Tatroe and the late Ethel Richard Tatroe.  Paula was a lifelong area resident and retired as a medical coder.

   She is survived by her husband, Daniel Nelligan of Port Arthur; father, Frank Tatroe, Sr. of Port Arthur; son, John Tatroe of Port Arthur; stepson, Daniel Nelligan of Sanford, NC, stepdaughters, Deborah Muscarella of Sanford, NC and Vickie Nelligan of Havelock NC; sisters, Pam Pecora of Conroe and Donna Batchelor of Spring; brothers Richard Tatroe of Lumberton and Frank Tatroe, Jr. of Nederland.

   Paula is preceded in death by her mother Ethel Richard Tatroe.

   Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Melancon’s Funeral Home 1605 Avenue H in Nederland with Rev. Ron Hammonds officiating.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
