Gladys Morrow Davis, 88, of Port Arthur, TX. Formerly of Kinder, LA. Departed this life March 25, 2010 at the home of hr niece in Lake Charles, LA. She was born to the late Pompey and Charlotte Captain Morrow, May 1,1923 in Kinder, LA. Her earlier years were spent in the Kinder area and later moved to Port Arthur, Texas where she resided until illness required her to come to Lake Charles. She was married to the late Joe Davis who preceded her in death. She was the last Survivan of the late Pompey and Charlotte Morrow

Family.

   She is survived by one adopted brother Charles Ray (Lula) Jones, another sister-in-law Ivory Morrow of Port Arthur, Texas. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

   The service will be at 11:00 am at the St. Paul Baptist Church in Kinder, LA. Saturday, March 31, 2010. Visitation is form 9:00 am to 11:00 am. under the direction of Braxton Funeral Home in Oberlin, LA 70655.
