Port Arthur

  • Mid and South Jefferson County Partners for Abused and Neglected Children will host a Mazzio’s Night from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at 3028 Highway 365, Nederland.   • Calvary Baptist Church will host a bake sale beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Alford’s Market Basket. Proceeds will benefit the 75th anniversary celebration.
  • Aurora Sertoma Club will present the 14th annual Hughen Center fundraiser Saturday, May 14, at Knights of Columbus Hall, 6621 West Port Arthur Road. Musical entertainment will be provided by Eazy and T.K. Hulin. There will be a dance, an auction, prize give-a-ways and food. Tickets will be $20 per person.   • Port Arthur International Seafarers Center, 401 Houston Ave., is collecting items for their Christmas at Sea gift box program. Items needed include: Socks, toothpaste, envelopes, disposable razors and writing paper. Items may be dropped off at the Port Arthur Seafarers center or by calling Robert Collins at 982-4504.
  • Trinity Lutheran Thrift Shop, 2400 Procter St., is open from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. All proceeds benefit mission work.

Port Neches

  • Knights of Columbus Council 2461, 700 Central Drive, Port Neches, will host a shrimp gumbo dinner sale from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday. Dinners will be $6 each.

Groves

  • Groves Knights of Columbus, 3749 Lincoln Ave., Groves, will host a fried fish dinner sales from 4 to 7 p.m. each Friday during Lent. Dinners will be $7 each.
