He’s no partridge in a pear tree, but a Port Arthur’s holiday infant is the gift that keeps on giving.

Harried new mother LaNesha Metoyer may be humming “The 12 Days of Christmas” carol in her head as she changes her early Christmas gift, DeKobi Fisher II.

The number 12 is part of the package, according to proud grandma, Debbie Simons.

Dekobi was born 12 months and 12 hours her first baby, Kordai Fisher.

“It just happened like that. When he came out, my first question was, ‘What time is it?’” Metoyer said. “It was overwhelming.”

DeKobi is just big enough to fit in a Christmas stocking. Kordai, his 12/12 older sister, likes to reach out and touch his tiny head, their mother said. Kordai did her gentle gesture as the three sat on a couch with DeKobi, the children’s’ father.

“She stares at him,” Metoyer said. “She just wants some attention, also.”

Her latest infant came after some uncomfortable contractions and Metoyer said her battle cry was “Somebody help me, help me please.”

Her mood softened when she finally cradled her newborn.

“When I first held the baby, he was big. He was big and I was happy,” Metoyer said.

Kordai was born at 11:18 a.m., Dec. 6 of 2009 and DeKobi was born at 11:13 p.m., Dec. 6, 2009.
