Lightning may have killed Crystal Beach jogger
CRYSTAL BEACH, Texas (AP) — A man who had been jogging during a thunderstorm may have been killed by a lightning strike.
Galveston County sheriff’s Maj. Ray Tuttoilmondo said a passerby spotted the body of Isaias Lara-Martinez lying facedown on Crystal Beach on Bolivar Peninsula Wednesday afternoon.
Tuttoilmondo said Lara-Martinez had burn marks on his chest and there was no indication of foul play.
