The Port Neches Police Department and the Groves Police Department arrested Christopher Wayne Robin at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 11 at the Executive Inn on Texas 73 in Groves.

Robin was arrested for the November 2007 murder of Wayne Beavers in Port Neches. The PNPD has be waiting for the forensic analysis of the many items of evidence collected at the crime scene. Based on the results of these tests and their investigation, a warrant charging Robin with this murder was requested.

The warrant was issued by Judge Ken Dollinger on June 9. Robin’s bond was set at $100,000. He is currently in the Jefferson County Jail.
