Roy Guerra, Jr.

ATLANTA, GA – Roy Guerra, Jr., 64, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away at home with his family around him on June 19, 2006. Roy was born on December 14, 1941 in Lockhart, Texas to parents Roy Guerra, Sr. and Isbell Perez Guerra. He was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in 1961. He lived in Port Arthur for several years before moving to New Orleans, LA and later to Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Isbell Perez Guerra; his brother, Rudy Guerra, Sr.; and his step-mother, Josefa Guerra. Roy is survived by his loving wife, Norma Canizales Guerra of Atlanta, GA; his daughter, Lorie Grisham of Atlanta, GA; his son, Alexander Guerra of Atlanta, GA; step-sons, Oscar Aquilar and Jesse Aquilar of New Orleans, LA; and Eddie Aquilar of Athens, GA. He was blessed with twelve grandchildren. Roy is also survived by his father, Roy Guerra Sr. of Port Arthur, TX; his brother, Johnny Guerra of Pasadena, TX; and his sister, Yolanda Guerra of Beaumont, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
