Britney Ann Corley became the bride of Justin Lynn Morrison Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 7 PM. The ceremony took place at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Reverend Bennie Patillo officiating. The reception followed at the IBEW Hall in Beaumont. The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding at The Pompano Club. The bride is the daughter of Craig and Janie Corley and Kelly McClelland, all of Nederland. She is the granddaughter of Noreen Freeman and the late Belton Ford “Scooter” Freeman of Crystal Beach; Jerry and Yvonne Nicholson of Nederland; and Gerald and Micki Corley of Lumberton. The groom is the son of Jerry and Judy Morrison of Nederland. He is the grandson of Gerald and Lil Reeves of Nederland and Odie and Mavis Morrison of Hemphill. The ceremony music was provided by pianist Craig Escamilla and Adam Domingue and Laura Stanton provided the vocals. Attending the bride as Maid of Honor was Courtney Tarnow, and Matron of Honor was Stacy Hicks. Bridesmaids were Dana Nevedomsky, Chelsea Tompkins, Julie Gunter and Jana Morrison. Keegan Heubach was flower girl. House party members were Jana Ballard, Layna Burns, Sue Cobb, and Heather Reeves. Lynli Bonin and Miranda Collins served as greeters. Joseph Rooney and Danny Hood, friends of the groom served as Best Men. Groomsmen were Brandon Corley, J.R. Valadez, Whitney Gomez, and Jeremy Reeves. The rings were carried by Gunnar Nicholson, cousin of the bride. Josh Cobb and Tad Smith served as ushers. The bride wore a satin A-line gown with beading on the cuffed bodice and split back with a cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of burgundy roses and white stephanotis. The bride is a 2002 graduate of Nederland High School and a 2006 graduate of LIT. She holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and is employed by Dr. Chris W. Kennaugh. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Nederland High School and a 2006 graduate of The University of Texas San Antonio. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, and will begin Dental School in August at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Following their honeymoon to the Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple will reside in Houston, Texas.
