Mrs. Sherman Crochet nee Michelle Harris

Michelle Jeanis Harris became the bride of Sherman Crochet on Saturday, May 20, at 4 p.m. at Val Verde Baptist Church in Groves with Dr. John “Brent” Stancil officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Charles and Kathy Jeanis of Groves. The groom is the son of John and Carol Crochet of Nederland.
Attending the bride as Matron of Honor was Amanda Buhler. Bridesmaids were Jamie Wyble, Cassie Root, Brandy Crochet and Veronica Smith. Sky Crochet served as flower girl.
Shelton Crochet served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Cory Brown, Brian Root, Lance Knod, Ryan Ross and Adam Brown. Michael Jeanis and Troy Schamber served as ushers.
The bride is a graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School and graduated from Lamar Institute of Technology. She holds an Associates Degree in Accounting Technology. The groom is a graduate of Nederland High School and is employed with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a Sergeant of Corrections.
Following their honeymoon in Cozumel, the couple will reside in Port Arthur.

Alishia Provost became the bride of Daniel Benjamin Saturday April 8, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. at Starlight Church of God in Christ, Orange, TX, in a double ring ceremony with Pastor E.B. Lindsey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Rodney Ceasar of Lake Charles and Mr. & Mrs. Edward Provost of Houston. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Larry Benjamin of Port Arthur.
Vocals were provided by Jillian Benjamin and Charity Thomas. and a poem was read by Cheryl Bradford.
Following their honeymoon in Jamaica, Cozumel, & Grand Cayman, the couple will reside in Port Arthur.
