Mrs. Teddy Authement nee Karissa Jo Wappler

Karissa Jo Wappler became the bride of Theodore Norris Authement II on Saturday, April 29 at 7pm at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Lake Charles, Louisiana officiated by Father Alan Trouille. The bride’s parents are Dennis and Velma Wappler of Groves, Texas. The bridegroom’s parents are Ted Authement and De and Scott Sonnier of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Music was provided by organist, Robert Marcantel; trumpeter, Ricky Peters; and vocalist, Michelle Taylor. Maid of honor was Katrina Wappler and bridesmaids were Rikki Monticello, Corrie Hale, Jennie Dupre, Jennifer Rogers and Stacey David. Hannah Authement was junior bridesmaid. Jade Moore was flower girl and Jonathan Buhler was ringbearer. Luke David was best man and groomsmen were Joel Monticello, Blake Hale, Eric Dupre, Eric Doak, and Josh Parks. Readers were Megan Norris and Jordan Wappler. Ushers were Robert Barfield and David Brent. Greeters were Shane Deshotel and Kent Fontenot.
Karissa is a 2000 graduate of PNG High School and holds a B.S. in accounting from McNeese University and is employed by Lauberge Dulac as a revenue auditor. Teddy is a 1999 graduate of LaGrange high School and also has a B.S. in accounting from McNeese University and is employed by AFLAC.
The couple will reside in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Ashely Nicole Jensen and William Michael Tawney, both of Nederland, Texas, were united in marriage on Saturday, May 6, 2006, at seven o’clock at the First United Methodist Church in Nederland, Texas. Reverend Dale Chance performed the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at the IBEW Hall in Beaumont, Texas. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Two Magnolia’s at The Green Beanery in Beaumont, Texas.
Ashely is the daughter of Ms. Charlotte Barras of Nederland, Texas. She is a prospective August 2006 graduate of Lamar University with a BBA degree in Marketing. She is currently employed with MCT Credit Union. Will is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Tawney of Nederland, Texas. He received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lamar University in 2004 and is currently employed as a reliability engineer with Valero Energy Corporation.
Amber Collins served as Matron of Honor and the bridesmaids were April Lisenby, Cassie Hebert, Amy Britt, and Jeanna Babineaux. Junior bridesmaids were Kirstein Lisenby and Chloe Scoggins, and the flowergirl was Kennedy Lisenby. Scripture readings were delivered by Michelle Phillips and Tammy Britt.
Andrea Gutauskas, sister of the groom, served as Best Woman. The groomsmen were Josh Rodriguez, Rocky Rashall, Dustin Britt, and Scott Collins. Parker Martinez served as Ringbearer. Ushers were Jake Babineaux, Alex Scoggins, Garrett Aguillard, and Barrett Cline.
Following their honeymoon, Ashely and Will will make their home in Port Neches, Texas.
