Kristen Murty weds Michael Voivedich

Kristen Murty became the bride of Michael Voivedich Saturday February 24 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Nederland, TX in a double-ring ceremony with Fr. Dan Malain officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Keith & MeloDee Murty of Nederland and the granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Murty and Mr. & Mrs. H.A. Downs. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Vincent J. Voivedich, Jr. & Ms. Stace Voivedich of Nederland and the grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Gil Nohavitza, Ms. Barbara Paine & the late John Paine, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Davis, the late Mr. Vincent J. Voivedich, Sr., and Ms. Ouida Dennis (great- grandmother.)

Music was provided by Joey Love, Amber Martell, and Mike Broussard and Rebecca Fleming & Adam Domingue provided the vocals.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was Kim Sleeper. Maid of Honor was Kaye Lynn Collins and bridesmaids were Ashley Voivedich, Emily Banner, Jenny Vincent and Kelli Palmarozzi. Kenzie Aycock and Brooke Sleeper were flower girls and Ian Hadel carried the rings.

Chad Aycock served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Justin Aycock, Justin Collins, Kevin Sleeper, Nick Willey and Corey Minaldi. Ushers were Keith Murty, Joseph Banner, James

Johnson, Ryan Knott, and Josh Whitehead. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Nederland High School and

graduated Lamar State College, Port Arthur. She holds an Associates degree in Nursing and is employed by the Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

The Groom is a 1998 graduate of Nederland High School and graduated Lamar Institute of Technology. He holds an Associates degree in Electrical studies and is employed by Valero.

Following their honeymoon in the Maya Riviera, the couple will reside in Port Neches.
