Angels and even a Roman soldier on horseback play important parts in this event. The procession continues to the boardwalk in downtown Port Arthur where a stable and manger are set up for the birth. Live animals graze as hymns are sung. The event winds down with a Christmas parade complete with a Mariachi band and Santa Claus.
