Wicked winter weather is heading to Southeast Texas Thursday night into Friday.
An arctic cold front will be passing through bringing along with it much colder and windier conditions, according to a National Weather Service press release.
The main concern is the possibility of sleet and freezing rain, especially on roadways such as bridges and overpasses.
There may even be a spot of snow in some areas. In addition to the dropping temps and freezing rain the wind chill will reach near 14 to 21 degrees, even cooler if wind speeds increase.
