Another fabulous weekend of live music and fun events for the whole family are in store, so make plans and be safe.
Rodeo
Area rodeo fans get your boots on as the annual Orange County Sheriff’s Posse Rodeo returns at 8 p.m., today and Saturday.
A variety of events, including bull riding, sheep riding, team roping, calf scramble, lamb scramble, calf dressing and steer wrestling will surely keep fans riveted to their seats as area youth and adults participate.
The rodeo grounds are located east of State Highway 62 on FM 105. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 12 and younger.
Ford Park
The biggest music-oriented event of the weekend has to be the Pink Floyd Laserlight Spectacular this Saturday night at Ford Park in Beaumont.
A phenomenal light show, complete with 3-D glasses and effects, all set to the music of the legendary band Pink Floyd, will blow your mind.
Also appearing is the Led Zeppelin tribute band No Quarter, plus the Kiss tribute band, Destroyer. The gates open at 3 p.m. with the show starting at 4 p.m.
