Junior golfers have numerous camp options

PORT ARTHUR —     For juniors just getting started and those looking to take their games to the next level, there are numerous instructional summer golf camps hosted by area golf professionals at golf facilities all over the greater Golden Triangle area, many featuring the Life Skills Experience programming of The First Tee.

These camps will focus on the fundamentals of the game and character values inherent to the game and all are sure to be a lot of fun.

“Summer Junior Golf Camps are, for some, a rite of passage.   I meet parents and grandparents all the time who share the fond memories they have from their own summer golf camp experiences.   Juniors who participate in summer golf camps learn how to become better golfers and they meet new friends and have a lot of fun in the process,” says  First Tee of the Golden Triangle Executive Director Jerry Honza.

Below is a pretty thorough list of facilities, camp dates and contact information.  Camp fees, registration information, meeting times and other details vary so contact the golf professional or staff at each facility for more complete information.
