How area players did in college games

Here are the efforts by former Southeast Texas players in the collegiate ranks over the Nov. 3 weekend. Players are included when they record statistics, start the game or reach career milestones. Players who are being redshirted or do not play are not included.

Four Year Colleges

Michael Barnes, Missouri Valley College, DB (Central): Barnes had 14 tackles, including one for a loss, in the 35-21 victory over Evangel, giving him 57 tackles this season.

Reggie Begelton, Lamar, WR (West Brook): Begelton had one catch for 8 yards in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin.

Jacoby Bellard, Missouri Valley College, WR (Ozen): Bellard had one catch for 6 yards in the 35-21 victory over Evangel. The sophomroe has eight catches for 167 yards and two TDs this season.

Harry Brown, Texas Southern, QB (Memorial): Brown caught two passes for 13 yards in the 49-3 loss to Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The senior has 22 catches for 256 yards this season.

Joshua Chatman, McMurry, WR (West Brook): Chatman had nine catches for 60 yards and a touchdown in the 53-0 victory over Texas College. The senior has 36 catches for 297 yards and two TDs this season.

Terrell Clark, Jr., Grand View, LB (Memorial): Clark had two tackles in the 51-7 victory over Iowa Wesleyan, giving him five tackles this season.

DeVante Conner, Grand View, DB (Memorial): Conner recovered a fumble in the 51-7 victory over Iowa State.

Collin Garrett, Stephen F. Austin, LB (West Brook): Garrett had eight tackles, including two for a loss, and an interception in the 40-26 victory over Lamar, giving him 82 tackles this season.

DePauldrick Garrett, Lamar, RB (West Orange-Stark): Garrett had 68 rushing yards and caught two passes for 13 yards in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin.

Jordan Garrett, Lamar, DB (West Brook): Garrett had five tackles in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin, giving him 24 tackles this season.

Ben Goodman, Kansas, DE (West Brook): Goodman had four tackles, including one for a loss, in the 41-14 loss to Baylor, giving him 13 tackles this season.

Ryan Grant, Tulane, WR (West Brook): Grant had five catches for 176 yards in the 49-47 loss to Rice. The senior has 42 catches for 834 yards and five TDs this season.

Adrian Guillory, Lamar, DB (Central): Guillory had six tackles and broke up three passes in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin,giving him 38 tackles this season.

Zack Hollier, Grand View, LB (West Brook): Hollier had three tackles in the 51-7 victory over Iowa Wesleyan, giving him 32 tackles this season.

Keenan Holman, Southern Methodist, WR (Central): Holman had two catches for 13 yards in the 42-17 loss to Central Florida. The junior has 25 catches for 311 yards this season.

Nathan Holmes, Arkansas, RB (Memorial): Holmes returned three punts for 37 yards in the 19-15 victory over Tulsa.

Willie Jefferson, Stephen F. Austin, DE (Ozen): Jefferson had three tackles and forced a fumble in the 40-26 victory over Lamar, giving him 30 tackles this season.

Marcus Malbrough, Lamar, DL (West Brook): Malbrough had two tackles and broke up a pass in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin, giving him 17 tackles this season.

Christine Michael, Texas A&M, RB (West Brook): Michael had 50 rushing yard and two TDs in the 38-13 victory over No. 15 Mississippi State. The senior has 321 rushing yards and eight TDs this season.

Mark Murrill, Lamar, DT (Lumberton): Murrill had four tackles, one interception and a pass breakup in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin, giving him 34 tackles this season.

Keith O'Neal, Missouri Valley College, RB (Central): O’Neal had three carries for 2 yards in the 35-21 victroy over Evangel.

John Prescott, Lamar, DL (Ozen): Prescott had three tackles in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin, giving him 28 tackles this season.

Chris Raggett, McNeese State, S (Ozen): Raggett had five tackles, including one for a loss, in the 42-10 victory over Nicholls State, giving him 26 tackles this season.

Taylor Reed, Southern Methodist, LB (West Brook): Reed had nine tackles in the 42-17 loss to Central Florida, giving him 57 tackles this season.

Bruce Reyes, Missouri Valley College, QB (West Brook): Reyes completed 15 of 31 passes for 258 yards with three TDs and rushed for 23 yards and another TD in the 35-21 victory over Evangel.

Jarrian Rhone, West Texas A&M, WR (Silsbee): Rhone had six catches for 61 yards in the 52-48 loss to No. 10 Midwestern State. The redshirt freshman has 33 catches for 362 yards and three TDs this season.

Elandon Roberts, Morgan State, LB (Memorial): Roberts had seven tackles in the 24-13 loss to Bethune-Cookman, giving him 83 tackles this season.

Mark Roberts, Houston, WR (West Orange-Stark): Roberts had five catches for 67 yards and a touchdown in the 48-28 loss to East Carolina. The sophomore has eight catches for 107 yards and a TD this season.

Radermon Scypion, Houston, DL (Memorial): Scypion had two tackles, including one for a loss, in the 48-28 loss to East Carolina, giving him 17 tackles this season.

Victor Spikes, Utah, LB (Central): Spikes had one tackle in the 49-6 victory over Washington State, giving him seven tackles this season.

Branden Thomas, Lamar, DB (Central): Thomas had seven tackles, inlcuding one for a loss, and broke up a pass in the 40-26 loss to Stephen F. Austin, giving him 35 tackles this season.

Seth Thomas, McNeese State, CB (West Orange-Stark): Thomas broke up a pass in the 42-10 victory over Nicholls State.

Jonathan Ward, Texas State, DE (Lumberton): Ward had two tackles in the 38-7 loss to Utah State, giving him five tackles this season.

Darius White, Grand View, WR (Memorial): White caught two passes for 51 yards in the 51-7 victory over Iowa Wesleyan. The sophomore has 18 catches for 257 yards and three TDs this season.

Steven White, Texas Southern, DB (Memorial): White had five tackles in the 49-3 loss to Arkansas-Pine Bluff, giving him 29 tackles this season.

Two Year Colleges

Michael Jolivet, Navarro College, DE (West Brook): Jolivet had an interception in the 42-14 victory over Kilgore College.
