Coleman Area College Player Report

PORT ARTHUR — Here are the efforts by former Southeast Texas players in the collegiate ranks over the Oct. 6 weekend. Players are included when they record statistics, start the game or reach career milestones. Players who are being redshirted or do not play are not included.

Four Year Colleges

Jereem Augustine, Morgan State, LB (Memorial): Augustine had two tackles, including one for a loss, in the 45-6 victory over Savannah State.

Reggie Begelton, Lamar, WR (West Brook): Begelton had two catches for 11 yards in the 30-23 loss to Northwestern State. The redshirt freshman has 10 catches for 71 yards this season.

Justin Brock, Lamar, OL (West Brook): Brock started at left tackle in the 30-23 loss to Northwestern State.

Harry Brown, Texas Southern, QB (Memorial): Brown had four catches for 56 yards in the 45-0 loss to Alabama State. The senior has 14 catches for 179 yards this season.

Joshua Chatman, McMurry, WR (West Brook): Chatman had three catches for 26 yards in the 22-19 victory over Southern Nazarene University. The senior has 18 catches for 172 yards and one touchdown this season.

Blake Chavis, Lamar, DL (West Brook):Chavis made three tackles in the 30-23 loss to Northwestern State, giving him 11 tackles this season.

Collin Garrett, Stephen F. Austin, LB (West Brook): Garrett had 13 tackles, including two for a loss, in the 51-43 loss to Sam Houston State, giving him 56 tackles this season.

DePauldrick Garrett, Lamar, RB (West Orange-Stark): Garrett had five carries for 10 yards and caught one pass for 4 yards in the 30-23 loss to Northwestern State.The junior has 35 carries for 128 yards this season.

Jordan Garrett, Lamar, DB (West Brook): Garrett had four tackles and one interception in the 30-23 loss to Northwestern State, giving him 17 tackles this season.

Kyle Gillam, Lamar, OL (Lumberton): Gillam started at center in the 30-23 loss to Northwestern State.

Ryan Grant, Tulane, WR (West Brook): Grant had one catch for 7 yards in the 41-13 loss to Louisiana-Lafayette. The senior has 24 catches for 331 yards and two TDs this season.
