There is nothing like a bit of family competition to make bowling an even greater sport than what it is. It is not my family this time, (although I do enjoy competing against my guys), but the Williams/Powell men. Derek Williams finished Thursday night with a 299 game but it wasn’t enough to take the top spot from his nephew, Branden. The younger Mr. Powell started Monday night with a 234 and moved on to a 269 and 268 for a really nice 771 series, followed by Derek with his other two games of 224 & 247 and 770 series.
