SP students excel in UIL competition

PORT ARTHUR — Sabine Pass High School students competed in UIL Academic contests on March 23 and March 24 at Colmesneil High School.  Sabine Pass ISD was the host school. 

The High School earned 472 points in the competition, with the closest competitor earning 313 points, which sponsors said was a phenomenal achievement.  A total of 43 students participated in the contest.  Twenty five Sabine Pass students will competed in Regional competition the week of April 11th at Blinn Jr. College in Brenham.
