Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from Nov. 26- Dec. 2:

Wednesday, Nov. 26
• A 40-year-old male was arrested on a warrant after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 5000 block of 25th Street.
• A victim reported being scammed after he received a phone call from someone claiming to be a relative asking for money.
• A business reported a forged check in the 5000 block of Monroe.
• A 22-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3300 block of Twin City. An 18-year-old male passenger was arrested on a warrant.
• A 46-year-old male was arrested on warrants after officers were called on a disturbance in the 5200 block of 34th Street.

Thursday, Nov. 27
• A door window on a house was broken by a pellet gun in the 2100 block of Owens.
• A 34-year-old male was cited for having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
• A 35-year-old female was arrested on warrants in the 5000 block of Twin City.
• A customer accidentally left an envelope containing cash on a check-out counter in the 5000 block of Twin City. After returning home, the customer realized the mistake and contacted the store, discovering the cash was missing.
• A 28-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 2000 block of Vincent Drive.
• A 38-year-old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 3100 block of Taft.
• A 23 -year-old victim reported an aggravated robbery in the 2600 block of Montrose. He reported that three males forced their way into his residence and stole electronic equipment.

Friday, Nov. 28
• A vehicle drove through the front of a business in the 3400 block of Twin City Highway, breaking a water line inside the store.
• Cash was stolen from an apartment in the 2600 block of Twin City Highway.
•A hammer was thrown through a glass window of an apartment in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A 23-year-old female was arrested on warrants after she was stopped for a traffic violation in the 2900 block of Ruby.

Saturday, Nov. 29
• A 32-year-old male was arrested for DWI and resisting arrest in the 4400 block of Lawndale.
• A four-year-old was found unattended in the 2100 block of Orange Acres.
• New building materials and a 19” Magnavox TV were stolen from a storage building in the 3500 block of Main Avenue.
• A vehicle window was shot with what appeared to be a BB or pellet gun in the 4900 block of Simpson.
• Glass windows were shot and broken by a BB or pellet gun in the 3300 block of Twin City Highway.
• A Casio digital cash register and contents were stolen from the 3900 block of Pure Atlantic Road.
• A 29-year-old female was arrested for evading arrest with a vehicle in the 5100 block of Texas 73.

Sunday, Nov. 30
• A 20” plasma TV and tool box were stolen from an apartment in the 5300 block of Gulfway.

Monday, Dec. 1
• Jewelry was stolen from an apartment in the 5800 block of West Jefferson.
• A vehicle windshield was broken by a BB gun that was parked in the 4900 block of Kent.
• A barbecue pit, pressure washer, Toro lawnmower and a Sears air compressor were stolen from the 6500 block of Val.
• Debit Card abuse was reported in the 6400 block of Coolidge.

Tuesday, Dec. 2
• A 42-year-old female was arrested for no driver’s license in the 4300 block of Twin City Highway.
• A 27-year-old male was arrested on warrants in the 5100 block of Texas 73.
• A 25-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5100 block of Texas 73.
