Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from Nov. 5 through Nov. 11:

Wednesday, Nov. 5
• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported by a citizen in the 3200 block of Canal, in which the steering column was damaged on a 1986 Chevrolet El Camino.
• A new business in the 3900 block of East Parkway reported the theft of a Mid-break, Tenn-Smith metal bender and the 16-foot black dual axel trailer the machine was on, these items are valued at over $10,000.
• A small black purse containing personal items was reported stolen from a customer at a local business in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway.
• A citizen in the 5300 block of Garfield reported ID theft.

Thursday, Nov. 6
• A Pioneer CD player was stolen from a vehicle in the 4300 block of Garfield.
• A 53-year-old man, driving a brown vehciel with two flat tires, caught the attention of polcie officers in the 3000 block of Pure Atlantic Highway. The man was located and later arrested for public intoxication.

Friday, Nov. 7
• A 28-year-old manw as arrested for public intoxication in the 5200 block of 39th Street.
• A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 6200 block of Gulfway.
• A forged check was reported in the 5100 block of West Parkway.
• A yellow Coleman Pro Generator and Dewalt 30 gallon compressor were stolen off of a lowboy trailer in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
• A 29-year-old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 7000 block of Hogaboom.

Saturday, Nov. 8
• A citizen reported several forged checks.
• An 18-year-old male was arrested on warrants after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 4800 block of Twin City Highway.
• A 23-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 4800 block of Twin City Highway.
• A 17-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5300 block of 25th Street.

Sunday, Nov. 9
• A 37-year-old male was arrested for fail to maintain single lane in the 6500 block of 25th Street.
• A 32- year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5200 block of East Parkway.

Monday, Nov. 10
• A business reported forged checks in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• A blue 2008 Ford F150 truck was stolen from the 5100 block of East Parkway.
• A 9mm Glock semi automatic handgun and assorted Craftsman tools were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 6600 block of Jefferson.
• A business in the 5000 block of Monroe reported receiving two forged checks.

Tuesday, Nov. 11
• A 47-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 6200 block of Monroe.
• Burglary of a habitation was reported by a citizen in the 6200 block of Howe, when the resident woke up he observed a tall slim male in shorts and white shoes get up from his bedroom floor and run out the front door and into a dark colored pickup truck with loud pipes.
