Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from Sept. 23-29:

Wednesday, Sept. 23
•A 30-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants after a traffic stop.
•A 30 -year -old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 6600 block of 32nd Street.
•A citizen reported being robbed at gunpoint in the 5300 block of Gulfway by three males. The suspects took the victim’s black and red Jordan shoes and a black Ipod Touch.
•Unauthorized charges were made to a debit card account.

Thursday, Sept. 24
•A 27-year-old male was arrested for DWI and possession of marijuana in the 3700 block of Main Avenue.

Friday, Sept. 25
•A 37-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5000 block of 25th Street.
•A disturbance was reported in the 7000 block of 39th Street.
•A 29-year -old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 2500 block of Main.
•A 21-year-old male was arrested on a warrant for aggravated sexual assault of a child in the 4200 block of Willow Oak.
•The driver of a vehicle fled the scene after striking a stop sign pole in the 3300 block of Kleespies.
•An assault was reported on the street in the area of Cleveland and Monroe.
•A citizen received a fraudulent cashier’s check in the amount of $4,950 along with a letter claiming that she had was a sweepstakes winner.

Saturday, Sept. 26
• No reports

Sunday, Sept. 27
•A man reported being robbed at knife point by three men in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
•An assault was reported in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
•A 30-year-old male was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a 30 year-old female was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and an outstanding warrant in the 7100 block of 32nd Street.
•Two cell phones and a cordless phone were stolen from a house in the 3100 block of Allison.

Monday, Sept. 28
•A disturbance was investigated in the 6100 block of Washington.
•Unauthorized charges were made on a debit card account.
•Two diamond rings, cash, a .22 caliber pistol and a 26” Zenith color TV were stolen from a house in the 5200 block of 25th Street.

Tuesday, Sept. 29
•A 34-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 3100 block of Cherry.
•A 52” LG plasma TV was stolen from the 3100 block of Allison.
•Water and sugar were placed in a gas tank on a vehicle parked in the 6100 block of Capitol.
