Port Neches Police Department responded to the following calls from Sept. 23- Sept. 29: Tuesday, Sept. 23 • Theft in the 2000 block of 6th Street. • A person was arrested for D. W. I. (2nd) with open container and evading arrest in a motor vehicle. • Two reported burglaries of motor vehicles in the 600 block of Ridgewood. Wednesday, Sept. 24 • Two reported assaults in the 2000 block of 6th St. • A person was arrested on a traffic warrant. • An officer issued two criminal trespass warnings for subjects in the 2300 block of Sixth Street. • A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 2600 block of 12th Street. Thursday, Sept. 25 • Criminal mischief in the 2200 block of Earle. • Counterfeit checks. • A person was arrested on a Georgia parole violation. Friday, Sept. 26 • Theft in the 3100 block of Sandalwood. • Identity theft was reported. • Fraud in the 2700 block of Mary. Saturday, Sept. 27 • A person was arrested for D. W. I. in the 2400 block of Nall. • Assault in the 2100 block of 10th Street. • An officer issued a criminal trespass warning to a subject in the 2300 block of Nederland Avenue. • Theft in the 800 block of Magnolia. • A juvenile was detained in the 2300 block of Nederland Avenue for possession of marijuana. • Disorderly conduct in the 1000 block of West. • Criminal mischief in the 2700 block of South Kitchen. • Assault in the 900 block of Wilson. Sunday, Sept. 28 • Telephone harassment in the 1000 block of West. Monday, Sept. 29 • Two people were arrested for possession of marijuana on Hampton. • An officer detained two juveniles in the 2300 block of Merriman for curfew violations.
