The Port Arthur Police Department responded to the following calls from Aug. 19-25:
Tuesday, Aug. 19
A 1996 Mazda Protιgι was burglarized in the 1700 block of Fifth Avenue.
A 2000 Mitsubishi Galant and a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado truck were burglarized at F&D Automotive, 2707 Seventh St.
Wednesday, Aug. 20
A purse with credit cards, a navigation system and CDs were stolen from a 2002 Dodge Ram at Murphy USA, 3595 Memorial Blvd.
Thursday, Aug. 21
A 1990 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from the parking lot at Central Mall.
A navigation system was stolen from a 2005 Ford F-250 truck in the parking lot of Central Mall.
A LCD TV and purse were stolen from a home in the 600 block of El Paso.
A computer, monitor and stereo were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of 11th Avenue.
A home in the 3200 block of 32nd Street was burglarized.
A briefcase with personal keys and credit cards and car stereo equipment were stolen form a 1998 GMC truck in the parking lot of Academy.
Friday, Aug. 22
Two swords, three DVD players, a watch and bank cards were stolen from a home in the 1200 block of Delaware.
A 1990 Lincoln Towncar was damaged at Port Arthur Town Homes.
Guns and personal property were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of 58th Street.
A 1994 Oldsmobile Ninety-eight was burglarized in the 2200 block of Eighth Street.
A CD player faceplate was stolen from a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse at Stat Care EMS, 3890 Gulfway Drive.
A womans wallet was stolen from a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina in he 600 block of Richmond.
A DVD player and Sony Playstation II were stolen from a home in the 2200 block of Ninth Street.
A man lost $740 in a money scam that occurred in the parking lot of Burger King.
A man was detained for violation of a city ordinance and found to be in possession of .69 grams of crack cocaine.
Saturday, Aug. 23
A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 2900 block of 32nd Street.
A flat panel TV, keys, assorted movies, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo WII, games, sound system and other items were stolen from a residence at Bent Tree Apartments.
A 1993 Chevrolet truck was stolen from the parking lot at Circuit City.
A woman riding a motorcycle failed to yield right-of-way and struck and Sabine Pass ISD bus in the 5800 block of Spur 93. The woman then got into a blue convertible and fled the scene. A male subject took the motorcycle and fled the scene without giving proper information.
Windows on a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado were busted out and items stolen while underneath the Intracoastal Canal Bridge.
An in-dash DVD player was stolen from a 2002 GMC Sierra truck in the 3100 block of Woodrow Drive.
A navigation system was stolen from a 2006 Ford Focus while in the 2300 block of Glenwood.
A window unit was stolen from a home in the 3500 block of 40th Street.
Jewelry was stolen from a residence at Lincoln Town Homes, 801 W. 13th Street.
A bulldog was stolen from a home in the 3100 block of Seventh Street.
A 2006 Toyota Avalon was burglarized and a ladies wallet, identification cards and gift cards were stolen in the 8100 block of Heatherbrook Trail.
Sunday, Aug. 24
A woman was arrested for stealing four packages of socks, Axe Shower Gel, one package of Energizer batteries, one package of Ol Roy Dog Treats, one pet collar, one Secret deodorant and one box of fish tank test strips from Super Wal-Mart, 8585 Memorial Blvd. She also charged with failure to identify.
A home in the 1700 block of Fifth Avenue was burglarized.
Windows of a 1997 Ford Expedition were busted out in the 900 block of Delaware Street.
A man was assaulted by a large group of men while on the dance floor at Woodys, 8484 Central Mall Blvd.
Monday, Aug. 25
About $10,000 worth of copper wire was stolen from AT&T, 6001 Ninth Ave.
A DVD player, jewelry box and jewelry were stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Thomas Boulevard.
Three electric space heaters and a window unit were stolen from a building in the 600 block of West 17th Street.
A CD player/TV monitor, radar and carton of cigarettes were stolen from a 2006 Ford truck in the 4500 block of Kandywood.
A Playstation 2, controller and game were stolen from a home in the 1100 block of West Fifth Street.
A home in the 3800 block of 39th Street was burglarized.
Two women stomped the ankle of a third woman until the victims ankle broke while they were in the 800 block of Brazos.
