The Port Neches Police Department responded to the following calls from Aug. 19- Aug. 25:
Tuesday, Aug. 19
• Counterfeit checks in the 1600 block of Llano.
• Assault and theft in the 1900 block of 12th Street.
• Theft in the 1900 block of Sixth Street.
• Counterfeit checks in the 700 block of Magnolia.
Wednesday, Aug. 20
• Criminal mischief in the 2400 block of Magnolia.
• Theft in the 1700 block of Eighth Street.
• Criminal mischief in the 1700 block of Williams.
• Counterfeit checks in the 2200 block of Nall.
• Criminal mischief in the 1800 block of Port Neches Avenue.
• A person was arrested for D. W. I. in the 800 block of Magnolia after a traffic accident.
• Criminal mischief in the 1700 block of 8th St.
• A person was arrested on a Jefferson County warrant for theft by check.
Thursday, Aug. 21
• Burglary of motor vehicle in the 2300 block of 15th Street.
• Assault in the 2200 block of Sun.
• A person was arrested on several traffic warrants.
• Assault in the 600 block of Ridgewood.
• Theft in the 2800 block of Nall.
Friday, Aug. 22
• Theft in the 2400 block of Ninth Street.
• Criminal mischief in the 1900 block of Ninth Street.
• Attempted theft in the 1000 block of Montgomery.
• An officer detained two male juveniles in the 600 block of Grigsby on curfew violations.
• An officer investigated information on a recovered stolen vehicle in the 100 block of Pine.
Saturday, Aug. 23
• A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 600 block of Victor.
• A person was arrested on a traffic warrant.
Sunday, Aug. 24
• Criminal mischief in the 2400 block of Dinah.
• A person was arrested on a traffic warrant.
Monday, Aug. 25
• A person was arrested for D. W. I. in the 200 block of East Port Neches Avenue.
• Assault in the 600 block of Ridgewood.
• Burglary of habitation in the 2700 block of 13th St.
• A person was arrested on a traffic warrant.
