The Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from Aug. 6- Aug. 12:

Wednesday, Aug. 6
• A 29-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in the 2000 block of Vincent.
• The rear window on a vehicle was damaged in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A 32-year-old man was arrested on warrants in the 2900 block of Ruby.

Thursday, Aug. 7
• No reports filed.

Friday, Aug. 8
• A white 1995 Chevrolet pick up truck was stolen and another vehicle was damaged in the 7100 block of 32nd Street.
• A Sony lap top computer was stolen from the 5700 block of Monroe.
• A telephone harassment report was made in the 6300 block of Howe.
• Reebok tennis shoes, a garage door opener and a set of truck keys were stolen from a vehicle in the 7200 block of Hayman.
• CD’s were stolen from a vehicle in the 6900 block of 32nd Street. The victim’s garage was also entered.
• The driver’s door window was broken on a vehicle parked in the 6900 block of 32nd Street. Cash and cigarettes were taken.
• Someone stole drinks from an outside refrigerator and then entered the residence and stole a Motorola cell phone in the 7100 block of Hayman.
• A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7000 block of Terrell.
• A pair of sunglasses were stolen from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Hickory.

Saturday, Aug. 9
• A 23-year-old man was arrested for assault in the 6200 block of Mire.
• A disturbance was investigated in the 5100 block of Foster.
• A 23-year-old man was arrested for theft of a person after he approached the victim in the parking lot of a business in the 4600 block of Twin City and asked to borrow a dollar. The actor then grabbed the victim’s purse and ran.

Sunday, Aug. 10
• A green Nano Ipod with a blue cover and cash were stolen from a house in the 2800 block of Oak.
• A disturbance was investigated in the 3000 block of Berry.
• A 26-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication in the 2000 block of Main.
• A black 1996 GMC pick up truck was stolen from the 5100 block of East Parkway.
• Fifteen pairs of Nomex clothing and welding hoods were stolen from a building in the 6900 block of Terrell by three males that fled from the scene.
• A 17-year-old man was arrested on traffic violations in the 5300 block of 32nd Street.

Monday, Aug. 11
• An unauthorized withdrawal was made at an ATM machine.
• A girl’s blue and purple NEXT brand bicycle was stolen from the 6800 block of Whitby.
• A 28-year-old female was arrested for DWI in the 5000 block of Main. A 29-year-old passenger was arrested for public intoxication.
• A 19-year-old man was arrested for failure to identify in the 5900 block of 25th Street.

Tuesday, Aug. 12
• A citizen reported seeing two teenage males inside his vehicle in the 3200 block of Allison. The actors fled on foot.
• A juvenile was arrested for evading arrest with a vehicle in the 5000 block of East Parkway.
• A juvenile was arrested on a warrant in the 2600 block of Montrose.
• A 25-year-old man was arrested for burglary of a vehicle after he was seen inside someone else’s vehicle in the 3200 block of Boyd.
• Someone attempted to remove a tire from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Canal.
• Items were placed on a vehicle in the 3800 block of Charles.
• A tire was cut on a vehicle in the 5000 block of Woodlawn.
• Tires were cut on a vehicle in the 3100 block of Woodlawn.
• A criminal trespass warning was issued in the 4700 block of Clermont.

Calls:

• Motor vehicle accidents investigated — 5.
