The Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from July 9-15:

Wednesday, July 9
• Stereo equipment and a 7” LCD TV were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Bryan.
• Red spray paint was painted on a decorative yard lamp in the 6400 block of Adams.
• A United States flag was stolen from a front yard in the 3000 block of Lay Avenue.

Thursday, July 10
• The back glass was busted out on a vehicle parked in the 3100 block of Walnut.
• A 39-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
• Officer made a routine traffic stop for failure to signal a lane change, the passenger a 38-year-old female and the driver, a 44-year-old male were both given citations for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• A citizen reported that his Chevrolet truck, a dark green 1997, was stolen from his residence in the 3200 block of Graves.
• A 1995 Mercury was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway. The vehicle was found nearby with damage to the steering column and tools had been stolen.
• Medicare Fraud was reported in the 6200 block of Warren.
• A Bentwood rocking chair was stolen from the 6500 block of 39th Street.

Friday, July 11
• Graffiti was spray painted on a fence in the 4600 block of Cleveland.
• The drive shaft to a bush hog was stolen from the 6400 block of Carolina.
• A 1999 red Honda Civic was stolen from the 5500 block of West Washington.
• A 42-year-old female was arrested on Jefferson County warrants in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A 33-year-old male was arrested on Jefferson County warrants in the 3200 block of East Parkway after he was stopped on a traffic violation.
• Telephone harassment was reported.

Saturday, July 12
• A Pioneer CD player was stolen from a vehicle in the 3400 block of Charles.
• A 21-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 2600 block of Montrose.

Sunday, July 13
• The driver’s side window on a vehicle parked in the 4400 block of Wilson was broken.
• A 52-year-old male was arrested for assault.

Monday, July 14
• A window was broken out on a building in the 2400 block of Main.
• An assault by threat report was taken in the 6600 block of Verde.
• A disturbance report was taken in the 2800 block of Cooley.
• A runaway and disturbance report were taken in the 3800 block of Canal.
• A green 1995 Mercury Marquis was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A threat report was taken in the 5400 block of Main.

Tuesday, July 15
• Guns and police gear were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 4800 block of Beaumont.
• False identification was given to an officer investigating a traffic offense in the 5000 bock of 32nd Street.
• A white Ipod , Nio GPS unit stamps and a Hummingbird GPS fishing system were stolen from a vehicle in the 6800 block of Howe.
• An Alpine CD player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 6600 block of Howe.
• A 25-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3000 block of Main Avenue. A 21-year-old female was also arrested for fail to identify, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
