The Port Arthur Police Department responded to the following calls from July 9-13:

Wednesday, July 9
• A woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and violation of the open container law in the 3600 block of Gulfway Drive. Police found an open 24 ounce of Boone’s Farm wine in the vehicle.
• A 2007 Toyota Avalon was burglarized in the 8100 block of Heatherbrook Trail.
• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
• Robbery in the 4900 block of 42nd Street.
• Attempted burglary of a habitation at Louis Manor Apartments.
• Felony theft at Emory Carpet, 2200 Memorial Boulevard.
• A woman was assaulted at the Midnight Lounge, 3885 Gulfway Drive.
• A 1994 Chevrolet Silverado was burglarized in the 2400 block of 62nd Street.

Thursday, July 10
• A 1994 Lincoln Towncar was damaged at Carver Terrace Apartments.
• Debit card abuse at Raceway, 3939 Twin City Highway.
• Graffiti was spray painted on a home in the 3800 block of 40th Street.
• A pair of Nike shoes was stolen from a 2007 Dodge Charger in the 900 block of West 18th Street.
• A Weedeater was stolen from a building in the 500 block of West 13th Street.
• A woman was struck in the head with a clothing iron by another woman at Carver Terrace Apartments.
• A 1994 Lincoln Towncar was damaged at Carver Terrace Apartments.
• A 1997 Ford F-150 truck was stolen from the 6300 block of Easy Street.
• A home in the 3400 block of Fourth Avenue was burglarized.
• A 10,000 BTU air conditioner window unit, Dell computer, XBox video game system and DVD player were stolen from a home in the 1100 block of 12th Street.
• Several items from a home and tires and rims of a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe were stolen in the 3900 block of Brinkman.
• Evading detention at Louis Manor Apartments.
• A man was struck in the head with a beer bottle and assaulted at JJ’s Pool Hall.
• A 42 inch flat screen television was stolen from a home in the 3700 block of Procter Street.

Friday, July 11
• Approximately 1,600 feet of welding wire, valued at $3,500, was stolen from Way Fabrication.
• A home in the 3200 block of 18th Street was burglarized.
• Graffiti on a street light in the 1900 block of 11th Avenue.
• Graffiti on a business in the 3800 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A window of a 2000 Honda Accord was busted out in the 700 block of Dunbar.
• A 2007 Dodge Nitro was stolen from the 3700 block of Avalon.
• Two people were arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop at Gulf Breeze Apartments. Police seized eight cigar blunts and a plastic baggie with marijuana.
• Aggravated assault/display of a deadly weapon at Citi Trends, 3401 Twin City Highway.

Saturday, July 12
• A person was robbed of $36 at gunpoint in the 1700 block of 10th Street.
• A 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was damaged in the 2900 block of 18th Street.
• A 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora was damaged with spray paint in the 3600 block of 15th Street.
• A man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 3200 block of 25th Street.
• A person detained for Class C theft and criminal trespass at Central Mall.
• Police responded to a call of a vehicle in the roadway in the 3800 block of Eighth Avenue found an intoxicated man asleep at the wheel. The man failed the field sobriety test and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
• A woman was arrested for possession of a dangerous drug, Soma, at Fisco Food Store.

Sunday, July 13
• Several vehicles were damaged in the 600 block of San Jacinto.
• The front windshield of a 2000 Chevrolet Tracker was shattered in the 5200 block of 10h Street.
• A 1988 Ford Bronco was stolen from a parking lot in the 5700 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Child endangerment was investigated in the 3100 block of Thomas Boulevard.
• An apartment was burglarized at Louis Manor Apartments.
