The Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from Wednesday June 25, through Tuesday, July 1:

Wednesday, June 25
• Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card account.
• A theft was reported in the 5900 block of Twin City.
• A vehicle was scratched and keys were stolen in the 3500 block of Canal.
• A citizen reported harassment.
• Freon was stolen in the 3100 block of Hickory.
• A red Troy Bilt weed eater was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 4700 block of Twin City.
• A credit card abuse was reported.
• The back door to a residence in the 5900 block of Baird was damaged.

Thursday, June 26
• A 33-year-old female was arrested on a warrant in the 3900 block of Lincoln.
• A black 1997 Chevrolet truck was stolen from a home in the 2700 block of Royal.
• Beer was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• Two males were arrested for robbery after they approached a person and demanded the victim’s wallet, claiming they had a gun. Officers located the subjects and arrested them.
• A 51-year-old male was arrested on a parole warrant in the 5800 block of Gulfway.

Friday, June 27
• A male, between 20-30 years of age, wearing a long white shirt and dark pants, displayed a weapon to a clerk, demanding money, at a convenience store in the 6900 block of 32nd Street. The actor left with a small amount of money.
• Freon was stolen from an air conditioning unit in the 3100 block of Cherry.
• Medication was stolen from a house in the 5000 block of Bellaire.
• A 31-year-old female was arrested for Criminal trespass in the 6300 block of Terrell.
• A 19-year-old male was arrested for evading arrest detention with a vehicle after an officer attempted to stop him on a traffic violation.

Saturday, June 28
• Graffiti was spray painted on a building in the 5800 block of 32nd Street.

Sunday, June 29
• Rocks were thrown onto a parked vehicle, causing damage, in the 2600 block of Main.
• Someone punctured a tire and scratched the paint of a vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A 20-year-old male was cited as a minor in possession of alcohol in the 4900 block of Pure Atlantic.
• Officers were called in reference to a disturbance in the 6100 block of Van Buren.
• A 2002 Yamaha Raptor racing four wheeler was stolen from a building in the 6500 block of Jefferson.

Monday, June 30
• A 26-year-old male was arrested on Groves warrants after officers were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle in the 6700 block of 25th Street.

Tuesday, July 1
• Graffiti was spray painted on a garage door in the 3100 block of Main, on a business garage door in the 3100 block of Main and on a garage door in the 3200 block of Main.
• Stereo equipment and an Ipod were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2600 block of Graves.
• A vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Gulfway received scratch marks to the paint.
• Windows were broken out on a vehicle parked in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A 48-year-old male was arrested on Jefferson County warrants in the 5300 block of Lincoln.
• A check forgery was reported.
• A 26-year-old male was arrested on Port Neches warrants after he was stopped on a traffic violation in the 6000 block of 25th Street.
• A woman’s black leather wallet was stolen from the 4400 block of Gulf.
• Three vehicles parked in the 3200 block of Boyd were damaged by a BB or pellet gun.
