The Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from Wednesday, June 18 through Tuesday, June 24.

Wednesday, June 18
• A Craftsman pressure washer and blower, a Weedeater, B&D cordless drill, saw, and a brown Sahon acoustic guitar were stolen from an opened garage during the night in the 3200 block of Taft.
• A welding lead was stolen from the 3900 block of Pure Atlantic.
• A window was broken on a house in the 3900 block of Russell.
• Gasoline was siphoned out of a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of Charles.

Thursday, June 19
• A 17-year-old male was arrested on a city ordinance violation in the 5100 block of 34th Street.

Friday, June 20
• A 23-year-old male was arrested on Port Neches warrants in the 3600 block of Graves.
• A 20-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 3100 block of North.
• A 24-year-old was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 5000 block of East Parkway.
• The concession stand of the Groves Swimming Pool was broken into and canned drinks and snacks were taken.
• Someone attempted to break into a residence in the 2400 block of Owens.
• A red electric bicycle was stolen from the 4500 block of Lee.
• A vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 5200 block of East Parkway was struck by another vehicle that left the scene.
• A citizen reported receiving threats in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• Officers were called to a disturbance in the 5700 block of Carolina.
• Someone attempted to break into a vehicle parked in the 2700 block of Third Avenue.
• A hole was cut in a fence and three tires were stolen in the 3100 block of Main.

Saturday, June 21
• A 21-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5200 block of Twin City.
• A 30-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 6100 block of Dave.
• A 25-year-old female was arrested for assault in the 5500 block of W. Washington.
• Officers investigated a disturbance and assault in the 4600 block of Twin City.
• A vehicle drove through a yard creating ruts in the 6700 block of 39th Street.

Sunday, June 22
• A 28-year-old male was arrested on warrants in the 3100 block of Twin City.
• A 36-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 2700 block of Second Avenue.
• Two tires were punctured on a vehicle parked in the 6700 block of 25th Street.
• A dog attacked another dog that was being walked in the 6300 block of Real.

Monday, June 23
• Medication was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway.

Tuesday, June 24
• A 17-year-old male was arrested on a city ordinance violation in the 2600 block of Magnolia.
• A 26-year-old was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 3000 block of High Avenue.
• A 32-year-old male was arrested on Groves warrants after he was stopped on a traffic violation in the 5000 block of 25th Street.
• A 42-year-old male was arrested on a warrant for failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
• A black Redline bicycle was stolen from the Groves Middle School in the 5200 block of Wilson.
• A Jimenez 380 caliber hand gun was stolen from the 3100 block of Hickory.
• A disturbance was investigated in the 3600 block of Main.
• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
• A check forgery was reported in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
